A long wait will feel like a sentence when health is on the line. For many individuals and families, delays will create fear, pain, and uncertainty.

Disasters will not wait for perfect timing. When emergencies hit, people will need help immediately, not later.

A young person’s future will change with one opportunity. But too many youth will face barriers they did not choose: financial hardship, unstable conditions, or lack of support.

Some people will not be “hard to reach.” Services will be hard to access. When someone is living through homelessness, displacement, or extreme hardship, support will often feel far away.
Not everyone can come to us — that’s why I Help Canadians goes to them. The Northern ROAD program is our mobile outreach initiative, bringing food, care, and connection directly to communities across Canada. From urban streets to remote towns, Northern ROAD ensures help is never out of reach.
Crisis can strike anyone, at any time. Whether it will be sudden job loss, health challenges, or homelessness, too many Canadians will find themselves without the essentials they need. That’s where our Northern Care program will step in — offering wellness kits, healthcare support, and hope.
