I Help Canadians is a federally incorporated not-for-profit organization and has applied for registration as a charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). 

Important Information for Donors 

• Currently: Donations are not eligible for official charitable tax receipts. 

• Upon CRA Approval: We will issue tax receipts for eligible donations in compliance with the Income Tax Act and CRA guidelines. 

• Retroactive Receipts: Whether past donations qualify depends on CRA’s approval date and policy. We will follow CRA guidance strictly. 

• Provincial Compliance: All fundraising practices comply with applicable provincial charitable fundraising regulations (e.g., Alberta Fundraising Act, Ontario Charities Accounting Act). 

Donors will be updated immediately when CRA approval is granted.
